Giddy Up
I had to send this cuteness off to school this morning while I work on a paper about Roughing It in the Bush. Not a good deal.
I get home tonight just in time for dusk. Cakes is all set to hit a half dozen of the neighbours’ (a few of them have even asked ahead what she is allowed to have—isn’t that awesome!).
Once we get Cakes to bed and give out candy to the eight children that venture to our street, we are going to join the neighbours for cocktails and candy on the front lawn. ‘Cause Halloween’s all about the adults, don’t you know.
What are y’all up to tonight?

I will be my usual Zombie Bride. (picture up over my way from last year....)
The children will go to bed insane after the carnage of candy
and wake up demanding candy.
same as every year.
Cakes looks awesome. Gonna let her eat toffee???
She looks super cool (loooooooove the boots - why didn't I buy them? gahhh). Tonight will probably involved ODing on snack size chocolate while watching 28 weeks later. Yup, we are EXCITING around these parts. Happy Hallowe'en.
Too cute!!
There's no way I'd be cheerful about leaving that cute little cowpoke for freaking Susannah Moodie.
Our friends have all set special treats aside for The Baby. Isn't that sweet?
How adorable is that costume?! And while Roughing it the Bush is good, it is nowhere near as good as chocolate.
We dressed the Peanut up and sat on the porch handing out candy. A quiet night for us.
She's gorgeous.
We did the usual Hallowe'en things. Your version sounds like a lot of fun. I could go for a cocktail right now.
The Boy ate so many Smarties I lost count. He said he "loves them".

Yeehaw. Are those the Target boots? Love them.
Cocktails and candy on the front lawn?! Now, that's the way to spend Halloween!!!
I am starting to detect a theme in your posts where many-an-evening ends with you and the neighbours having cocktails on the porch. I wanna move to your 'hood!
Ride 'em cow girl. She is positively hurtin' in that good hurtin' way.
